I’m in the best shape of my life but more importantly, I’m making steady progress again. I have also noticed vast improvements in my Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu, particularly on hand speed, strength, and explosive power.       <image:caption>I put on a few extra pounds during my pregnancy as is usually the case, and my stomach muscles stretched too much. After delivering my baby girl, they did not return to their original strength and shape, my stomach was now very loose and hanging out. I got referred to the physiotherapist who gave me some exercises to strengthen them which I stuck to diligently for 5 months and as they got slightly better the physiotherapist discharged me from therapy. Unfortunately, after a couple of months, I noticed that the gap in my abdominal muscles was widening again and I started to suffer low back pain; it was so bad that I could not lift my daughter anymore so I decided to start exercising on my own and took up a diet to lose weight, and after a couple of weeks, I was jogging every day for about 30 minutes. After 5 months on this diet and exercise routine, nothing had changed or improved to my disappointment. As a result, I got depressed, moody, and tired all the time. Sleeping was very difficult too, I would wake up 2 or 3 times every night and stay up for 2 or 3 hours very often, I also hated watching myself in the mirror, and although I was hungry all the time I felt guilty when eating. After commenting this to my friend Kym she gave me the phone number of the person that had previously trained her, that was how I got to meet Marco Berta. Just 4 months after I started to train with Marco my body and life have changed 100 %, he taught me to eat according to what I need and in 12 weeks of training I lost 10% body fat, I reduced my waist size by 8cm and dropped a dress size not to mention the 12 lb of muscle I gained which completely reshaped my body, now I can eat more without getting fat again. I feel younger; my energy levels skyrocketed, I sleep better, and recovered my confidence, so I will keep training until I look at my best.</image:caption>

Sleeping was also impossible and used to wake up exhausted after restless nights. That went on for about 6 months while I went to see doctors, chiropractors, and eventually an osteopath. Finally, after spending a few hundred pounds without any improvement, I made up my mind and decided to see Marco as a last resort for my back pain. After three stretching sessions which lasted twenty minutes each three days in a row the pain went down at least 80 %, that was enough for me to hire him as my personal trainer. After he ran few tests he designed a rehabilitation program which I followed for 6 weeks.
